Herb,
Absolutely love the symbiotic relationship (shot 1), the colour here is fantastic. Also the moray shot, those eyes are well & truly pinned on the camera.

The 2 morays reminded me of a shot I caught end of last year in Maldives. Although I wish the clarity was better on mine.

Great shots!
My preferred are the morays and the squids.
Love the clownfish / anemone shot, and the silhouette of the schooling fish...
Great shots! Great another place to add to my never ending growing list. Exactly where were you?
What settings are you shooting your strobes at?
Thanks
Herb,
Awesome!!!
If I found those glassy sweepers, I'd probably use my whole dive shooting them wideangle. I just couldn't leave!
Same goes for the cuttles.
Cheers
James

Thanks. I was at the Andaman Sea off the West coast of Thailand.
I think I've used all 11 power setting on my 2 Y290DX's at one time or another.

Thanks James. Thailand is the place for you. I found glassy sweepers at quite a few spots usually around pretty soft coral.
Also, I've been told by our DM that it's quite common to see those cuttles there at that divesite.
Herb, those are some real keepers. The soft coral with the sweepers and the sunburst should look good on the wall. Is that a giant clam behind the two eels?
One of these days I'm going to get to the other side of the world.
Bon: Tres Magnifique mon amee.

Great images Herb. I'll be in Puket for a conference in about a month and would like to hear any advice you have. We are staying an extra week for diving. Of course I'd specificially like to see cephalopods.
I went out on a liveaboard the Viking , http://viking-liveaboard.com , which I highly recommend. Also have a look at http://siamdivers.com , they have lots of information on diving in that area. Have fun.
