D200 price drop?

I noticed a significant price drop in the Nikon D200 from some online stores lately. If you Google "Nikon D200" you can find them for under $1100 US. Full US warranty, in stock, etc. I'm curious...what is the lowest price anyone has paid for the D200 body? I got mine last October for about $1700 from Camera World. Has anyone had any first hand experience with any of these companies? <_<

I'm tempted to place an order just to see if they actually do deliver.

Don't believe it

the D200 is still backordered in some camera stores. That discount has got to be fraud.

Plus it just won a major camera award (Camera GP Award), and it is still Nikon's most recent DSLR release. Maybe there will be a price drop when the D2Xs is out in a month or two, but I doubt it.

Hi,

I'd suggest that you do not order from these establishments. Just check out the rating on TCScamera.com on on resellerratings.com. Here's the link
