I’m a new member here. I just placed an order of Sea and Sea DX-D50 + Ys-110.
I have a question about the NX compact dome port and CX compact dome port. I understand that the CX compact dome port is using “screw in†type, where NX doesn’t.
I’m planning to use Nikon 12-24mm for this housing.
From my understanding, I need NX compact dome port + SX extension ring in order to use this lens.
However, according to sea&sea website, I can use the combination the compact macro base (#56201) + CX compact dome port (#46100) for this Nikon 12-24mm.
Is this possible?
Please note that I already have the compact macro base + compact wide port L for my Nikon 18-55mm.
If the above combination can work well with Nikon 12-24mm, then I can save my money by not buying the SX extension ring.
