I recently purchased a Ikelite housing (for the Sony DSC-W7), DS-50 strobe, and EV Controller.
There were no instructions and my initial attempts to take pictures are producing "washed out" pictures - virtually all white.
1. What should be the settings - internal and external - for the EV Controller? I believe the Sony DSC-W7 is a pre-flash camera.
3. What should be the setting for the Ikelite DS-50 - TTL or manual?
4. What is the preferred settings for the W7 camera - Auto or if manual - what shutter speed/F stop. There are not many choices since there are only two f-stops that can be selected in manual - 2.8 and 5.6.
I am leaving on a trip in a week and really need some help.
