AUS ABC TV & Web

We have a gig to make 20 x 5 min video lives clips over the next 40 weeks.

As you would of guessed most of our clips will be based around the water.

We are one of five teams based around Australia and the clips are aired on ABC 2 TV and the ABC website each fortnight.

Kelly's making all the money this year chasing the Sharks and i'm sitting here getting fatter doing web/film jobs.

But.. up in the plane today filming the reef with the FX1...will post a nice clip if I get some nice shots. B)

Absolutely awesome Wags and Kelly. I'm up to episode three already, but I think it might be pushing it to watch any more of them at work... Can't wait to get home to see more.

How did you guys end up doing this?

Watch the last one, it's us messing around with some sharks and the Great White Bite on our Rib.

We entered a contest last year but did not win as it was viewer choice and we all know how voting on the internet can be beat by turning off ones cookies etc so one can vote and vote and vote. <_<

Anyhow the judges liked what we sent in and as we are abit different then normal people living their lives, they offered us the GIG. $5,500 worth of gear later away we go. We get to keep the gear as well as they pay us for each clip we send it.

Whale Sharks and Baby Turtles adventures comming up in the next few weeks.

Next week we have a UK film crew comming to shoot a story about the Whale Sharks and I will be shooting with the Phenom for them. It will be a story about www.ecocean.org and a guy called Brad Norman.

Yikes. That was absolutely fantastic. The footage of the GW and the wagsy (is it just me, or is everything named after you...) and also the juvenile sharks in the shallows. You did really well capturing them when they are moving so fast. Loved the music too - are you responsible for that?

What gear did you have to get that you didn't already own?

Looking forward to the Whale Sharks and more Baby turtles....
