First pics 350D in Sea&Sea and some magic

  1. Hey all, finally posting my first pics from my first dslr.

Obviously completly overwhelmed with the amount of options, very excited and am looking forward to calming down so I can concentrate on the photography side of things. Camera handles great and can pretty much forget it's there when I need to.

  2. NIce pics Rob... have you thought about getting Alex's Magic Filter for your setup, especialy since you shoot w/o strobes? I think that's next on my shopping list... ;)

Well so far just doing some quick tests of the strobes w/ the TTL converter in my apt last nite, appears to be working although it might be slightly off at apertures higher than 11. I need to double check again if I've got everything set correctly... But the TTL converter has an adj. dial on it so its nice being able to adjust both strobes up or down with a single dial at my fingertip vs adjusting the strobes manually. Oh, I just noticed a little flyer in the packaging that says I need to change the ettl2 setting on my canon w/ the TTL converter.

  3. Cheers pakman, yeah I'm shooting already with magic filters, shots above taken with it fitted. I'm liking the results so far.

Look forward to seeing the results with your strobe setup.

    Cheers
