And it is not going to happen... It was an error on Apple's site, and they have a stated policy that they are not responsible for errors on the site... follow the DPreview thread and you'll see numerous reports of the 1Ds II's turning into 1D II's when they are shipped.

Don't eBay that 5D just yet

Yeah, I saw that too. You'll be getting a 1DmkIIn I'm afraid. Even though people have called and the sales reps have said "no, it's the S"

The problem these days (hint ebay) is that if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.

On the other hand, when I first saw that, I thought they were clearing out stock to make way for the 22 megapixel version.
