Strobe and Canon Rebel

  1. I have just purchased a Canon Rebel XT with a Sea & Sea housing. I have been reading and am now confused about how to set the camera when using an external strobe. ( y-90 auto). Do you have to turn off the flash on the camera?

  2. Hi Nina, yes, you should always turn off the on-camera flash in order to use external strobes with and SLR. The external flash and the camera should also be in manual mode (non-TTL) unless you have a TTL-converter.
