Business trip to Fort Lauderdale

  1. I've got an up and coming business trip to South Florida B) . I'm a Florida Keys regular so I'm aware of how good the diving is in that area; however, I've read reports about the are just North of Miami is pretty good as well. Any ideas you have would be appreciated. Anyone who is a dive operator out in the area, I'd be happy to throw a little business your way. I'm there with my wife from the 24th through the 29th and we're looking at diving on the 26th, 27th, and 28th. Thanks!

  2. I love diving in the Boynton area, really fishy, and you never know what you might see as far as big stuff goes. It is about 30min N of Lauderdale.

    My 2 favorite operators are;

    www.idivestarfish.com

    In Lauderdale, the American Dream is an excellent choice.

    If it is flat calm, I'd rather do a nice long shore dive south of the Commercial pier.

  3. And stop in and see Ryan at Ryan Canon's Reef Photo too. :lol:

    pavan (the owner) runs a top knotch dive operation there in deerfield beach, their favorite sites are sea emperor & teneco towers, which you can see on the website. the sea emperor was intact when i took my OW course there, it is now broken into 2 by a hurricane, so it is a completely new dive. i am looking forward to seeing it myself when i go later this year.

  5. Thanks for all the fast replies! I'm already doing some research and it would be a pleasure to stop in and say hi to Ryan while I'm there.
