  2. Great find to see 2 at the same time! I hunt these down all the time, waiting for the right position, which can take some time. Just try and capture some of the ane and the diamonds a little further out so you can see what they are on and they will often look at you so wait for that to. Here's one that I took a while ago:

Oh and your f-stop was okay but your shutter needs to be a little higher, so you get a sharper image.

  3. Killer shot kriptap but your pic steals a little thunder from mpc, better to keep the focus on the picture requesting advice. MPC You did many things well with the opportunity you were given, the exposure a little hot on the right but overall not bad. Good position of the fish in the frame just the best position to view the fish.

A little depth of field apears to be lost on the fish although the eyes are not too soft as the very top of the fish so that helps. Because you are looking down at the fish the impact is taken away, we are not able to clearly see the subject and get some personality from it. They are in a nce section of the frame the negative space is great but the fish just did not perfom or the angle to really "see" the subject just was not created by you or maybe not possible given your position and the location of the fish.

  4. I posted it for him to see, many people have a hard time thinking of how to shoot a shot, so copying someone else is often a good way to learn, that's why I posted the image. Sorry PMC if I did steal your post.
