Addition to current system

3 posts
  1. I'm currently using the following system:

S2 Pro in a Subal housing

    20mm lens - 6" dome port

    105mm lens - 105 port

    2 Inon strobes

I'm looking at adding another lens to this system and was wanting to get some recommendations. I have heard that the 12-24 lens would be a good addition but was also wondering about the 60mm Macro? If I added either of these lenses to my system could I use the same ports or would I need to add new ones?

  2. I would highly recommend that you look at the 15mm Sigma fisheye. You can use it w/ the 6" port.

    Cheers

  3. HI,

I use both the 12/24 nikon & the 60mm micro. I find that the 60mm is

easier to use than the 105mm & as the port is shorter than the 105mm.

The 12/24 is a wonderful lens & it can focus down to 100mm, so you can

get very very close & reduce the water colunm to produce better images.

As far as ports go I use a 35mm extender with my wideport also I have

a zoom gear fitted. This with my SeaCam housing so I can not comment

on a Subal. But both lens are great & would be great additions.
