Another Newbie question

I am a newly certified diver and new to the hobby. I want keep it relatively inexpensive as I start out so I bought a PT-016 for my Olympus Stylus 400.

Is there a basic FAQ for beginner u/w digital photography on this site or elsewhere? I am basically looking for a list of do's/dont's that work in the point and shoot world.

Don't use the built in flash for any subject farther than 6 inches away from the camera.
