Two strobes one charger.

  1. I'm wandering what would go up in smoke if I splite the wire coming out of the Ikelite smart charger and make it feed two conectors in a paralel conection.

My intention is to charge two batteries at the same time.

Will it charge both but at half the speed defeating the purpose of saving time?

Is the charger smart enough to sense the increase in load and shut down?

    Has anyone tried?

  2. By the way.

The charger is a newer model and the strobes are two DS 125

  6. At least you have a house mate - my girlfriend and I live under a park bench and hire a railway locker to store all our toys.... :D

No... not really, but this game does get crazy expensive!! :( And it could easily end up that way. Thank goodness for credit cards eh?

And poor Veitch lives in a "cubicle", so consider yourself very lucky son! :) Although, his cubicle is on Yap, so don't feel too bad for him...
