The ribbon eel again, new & improved

  1. Did the suggested cropping. Hopefully the resolution is good enough to show the ribbon eel face in focus. All the other shots I got of this geezer were suffering from motion blur.

Anyone know who the pink shrimp on his right is? (our left, the ribbon eels right)

  2. Nice, I like this a lot better!

  3. Much better.

I know who that shrimp is - he's LUNCH!

    Cheers

    James

  4. Radical difference eh!

    The shrimp is a valet!

Usually wherever you find a moray there will be at least 1 shrimp closeby.

I have a shot somewhere I took out on Shark Bank (30 minutes away) of two peppered moray and around 150 Durban dancing shrimp.

We have guestimated the DDS population in BV bay alone is around 3 million.

The shrimp is a Periclimenes Tenuipes. I only know because I just looked this up for one of my shots!

  6. How would you like your Periclimenes Tenuipes?
