I'm preparing to purchase the 105mm VR but am waiting to see if there will be a flat port solution for the 8" dome ports as the "teaser" hinted on Ikelite's page.
I understand that there is a standard port available for this lens. But if there is a flat port for the 8" port extensions in the offing I'd rather wait and do it right. It would be nice to have a port and extension combination for both the 105mm and 60mm that uses as few additional extensions as possible. If the 60mm would work with say the extension for the 12-24mm it would be great.
Any update on the progress?
