The manual has not been converted to english very well. What is the best way to set up the strobe with a pre flash. Also any tips for better photographs with it. Thanks

It's better if you can be specific about what you don't understand...
One odd thing that may have bothered you: In Auto mode (Low or High) the strobe is configured to ignore one pre-flash. In Manual mode it is not - it triggers on the first flash.
