lembeh and bali in september

as my previous post disappeared due to the hack issue here goes:

like quite a few wetpixel members i will be in bali in 10 days from 17sep to 1oct first diving around the island and then relaxing (and diving i know) on 28,29,30sep.

if any of you are around the island just post a pm or reply to the thread and i am sure we will be ale to catch up for a beer or three.

robert (frogfish) i will be sending you a pm, hopefully we can meet up for a drink...

also from 9 to 16sep i will be at lembeh resort, dunno if any one else will be...let me know

Lucky you Mike. Had the opportunity to stay & dive with Scuba Seraya 2 weeks ago. Great resort, dive staff, and wonderful critter diving on the house reef. Can't wait to go back sometime!

Oh you're going in Oct... I thought it was this month. In that case I may see you there. Depends on the gf and which week she can get free. But we'll be in Ubud and maybe Mengjangan, again depending on which resort she chooses. As you can tell I have very little input control as I'm just there to be used for my body

Good report, looks like Menjangen (sp?) is the place to go for me.... i want some colourful soft corals and clear water! (and its in the north so warm....)

Unless you have your dry suit along, a warm water wimp like you will freeze your *ss off. My computer read 68F at Crystal Bay and a relatively toasty 72F at Manta Point. I was very cold in my 3mm + 3mm vest. Our guide was shaking in his 7mm.

hahaha... i'm not goin anywhere called Manta Point....

I do have my 7mm Semi Dry.... its the only suit i am bringing!

It was actually written as a Blog Update for FiNS Magazine - but they haven't posted it, yet. So I thought I'd stick it up on DD as well. I sent different images to each.

Menjangan is spelt different ways everywhere. These is a sign on the island that says "Welcome to Menjangan" so that is the spelling I use.
