Anyone know who has a UR-E5 adapter ring for the CoolPix 500

I have had real trouble locating this ring and cannot use a 19mm lens without it.

What really gripes me, is that it was only developed for the 19mm lens which can only be used on the CP5000 and it is sold seperately from the lens.

My local camera shop has it in stock from time to time. I bought one there. They don't keep it out, and you have to ask for it. I cultivate a relationship with them and when I asked them to let me know when one came in it only took a week or two to get one. The lens is great! I suspect much better than any of those add on wide angle lenses for UW housings.

I bought mine from tristatecamera.com in Brooklyn. They had them in stock when I called to check earlier this week (Monday).

Might want to give them a try.

I agree, Nikon was STUPID not to just sell the adapter ring with the lens. Oh, the humanity!

Cheers
