Advice on shooting in caves

1 posts
  1. I'm doing a small photo shoot here this weekend for a company who wants photos of people in caves along the shoreline in Hawaii. They want :

    1. U/W shots of divers cruising thru the shoreline caves

    2. Snorkelers on top of the water (deep in the caves)

    3. Half and half shots from the back of the cave looking out to the boat

I don't do much shooting in these conditions at all and was wondering if anyone had any obvious tips/creative techniques?

Mostly concerned about getting correct exposures in #3 - back in a dark cave, water sloshing around and looking out to the bright daylight outside the cave....Any strobe/lighting techniques would be great as well.

I'll be using my 20d with the 17-40L and 10-22.....

Mahalos in advance for your advice!
