Olympus new E-400 and ultra small PT-E03 DSLR housing which accepts all current PT-E ports and accesories should be a great low cost way to enter the U/W DSLR ranks.
Everything's relative, I suppose ![]()
In my mind Olympus made a mistake when they abandoned the C-?0?0 line. Those cameras, and their underwater housings were unique. In terms of underwater compacts Olympus doesn’t have much to offer at the moment, but on the dSLR side it’s a whole different story. This is the third dSLR housing from Olympus, and they have a good selection of ports and other accessories.
I briefly tried an E-330 and was disappointed, but the E-400 and the PT-E03 looks very interesting.
Actually, in terms of compact cameras, their SP series is quite attractive, slimmer and faster than the C-?0?0 series, and with a larger screen. They also have Inon adaptors that open up a whole range of possibilities...
The SP-350 is the best Oly compact at the moment, but I don't feel it's an SP-350 upgrade from my C-7070WZ.
