capture nx has the tool, but you have to buy the whole thing. I use my 10.5 so much I got it and im happy i did. The only problem is work flow between nx and ps is messy

  3. PTLens has correction routines for these lenses which you can use as a plug-in in Photoshop. Also look at the "Power Retouch" suite.

On the other hand, ALL of these correction packages are for the lens on LAND, not underwater. I wrote to the creator of one of these (can't remember if it was Panotools or Power Retouch) and asked if I could send them a photo of a grid taken underwater through my dome port - so that they could make an underwater correction package. They said no, it would be too time-consuming for them.

  4. You can also try using Bibble, which combines a lens correction tool within a RAW conversion software, along with many more functionalities...

  5. The DxO optics suite includes modules for the 10.5 mm, but unfortunately not the 16 mm. The 10.5 conversoin will takes the image all the way to complely rectilinear. I'm not sure about the Tokina 12-24, but the Nikon 12-24 and 17-35 are covered.

I am somewhat unclear - is the "DxO optics suite" a particular software package marketed as such or part of another program or a plug-in?

Forgive my ignorance but I have a 10.5 and want the option to convert (although I once had a conversation with Cathy Church - who says she never bothers to convert 10.5 images and is quite happy with results).

    Thanks.

  7. I to 99% dont convert my 10.5 images

But the 16mm and tokina 12-24 is needed sometimes especially for Fashion shots

    I will try PT lens...

  8. Note he picks the free one :-)

Lambis - I know what you mean about needing to correct the photos for fashion shoots. Models w/ 6' long arms just don't look good...

    Cheers
