  1. Join us for the Scuba Club Cozumel

    Digital Workshop & Photo Contest

Sunday, February 11 through Friday, February 16

This workshop is our third at Scuba Club. The week includes tips and presentations showing you the best way to capture Cozumel's beauty with your digital camera. No camera is too big or too small! We do have a lot of people who attend with small point & shoot cameras. Not only is this workshop a lot of fun, but you'll learn all about how to improve your underwater photography with new shooting techniques, and you'll learn how to improve on what you've captured by using Adobe Photoshop. Check out our photo scrapbook for snapshots of the activities from the February and August workshops.

The workshop is free to all guests of Scuba Club Cozumel this week.

Your instructor and host is Bonnie Pelnar, author of "The Digital Workflow for Underwater Photographers", part of a series of courses available at TheUnderwaterPhotographer.com. Bonnie has made 27 trips to Cozumel and she knows where and how to find the best Cozumel has to offer and can show you how to capture it with your camera. Also on-hand will be Armando Alentado of Island Photo & Video. Armado will offer rental equipment, downloads and archiving, advice and a presentation about Cozumel.

Inon America will also be bringing Inon demo equipment for your use, including the Inon PT30 system, strobes, wide angle lenses, fisheye lenses and macro lenses.

    COZUMEL'S REEFS ARE LOOKING FABULOUS!

Check out photos from our June 2006 trip.

In addition to the presentations, slide shows and seminars, Bonnie will be available to dive with you each day. This year we will set up a special photographer's boat, so if you wish to dive with the rest of the shooters, you are welcome to come along.

At the end of the week we'll be having a photo contest with awards and prizes! If you would like to stay for a couple more days you'll catch the beginning of Cozumel's Carnival celebration AND Bonnie's birthday party on the 17th.

If your would like to attend please

contact Bonnie to reserve your spot.

For more information about the workshop schedule visit the Scuba Club Cozumel web site.

  2. Bonnie,

    This looks good!

I just read in the 2007 Undercurrent Chapbook a nice compliment from people who attended last year's seminar.

    Should be fun for people!
