  1. Hi all,

Just got an email from a mate..

Apparently 'Big Pictures U.K' (a london based Paparazzi firm) are looking for Videographers to join their fast growing video paparazzi team. This is a new type of format for chasing 'celebs' with video rather than stills.

They go on to say you need 'Ideally' to be located in London and be ready to 'Get around town' on a motorcycle or moped, which is provided.

    WOW !! The fame :( , the glamour :( , the stealthyness :D

I'm going to start a new one..You now can call me:

    'SECRET UNDERCOVER SKATEBOARD VIDEOMASTER' :D:)

Maybe John Bantin could come out of pap retirement to teach a whole new generation of pappers :)

  2. Ha thats awesome ...

.... Big Picture UK .. i think thats the one run by a big Aussie guy .. they did a tv show on him ages ago. Amusingly he seemed like a nice guy with a real good way of explaining what he does, and explained thath even though he gets called paparazzi, the only way he makes money is by being freinds with the celebs. He said something like sure he's annoyed some of them but others call him up to get their paparazzi shots done !!

It was quite an amusing look into the world of paparazzi, guys spending 3 months on the beach in Barbados with a 60mm lense etc just for one photo that might happen. The big comanies were quite ethical it seemed, it was the freelancers that seemed to have to push it more and hence annoyed people.

But what a job, i'm not sure I could do it ... it's a real challenege to be able to go up to people and snap them, I should know as recently I tried for Orlando Bloom when he was here for the opening premier of Haven which is a great movie by the way. Anyways he gave us the old arm in the car, body guards on the beach .. etc etc etc but we were able to find out his schedule and (this bit may get edited) even found out who he was sleeping with whilst visiting, oh small island life!

I do have a small digividcam, maybe i will make sure i have that ready for next time someone famous comes down !

  3. God, that's funny.

Made my day - I needed cheering up! :D

    Cheers, Simon

  4. I saw that programme as well Giles..

You could make a nice little 'side earner' being a contact for a scurrilous paper.

Now that our top snappers are being called 'celebs in dive magazines i think we should stalk them..Or take secret photo's of them pissed leaving award festivals :D:D:)

Simon, whats up mate...? Anything 'big boy' Dean can help with.???
