Right now I am looking at working with a well known organisation to arrange and lead expeditions along with a few leading experts. The aim is to go to some of the outer islands of Indonesia on a yearly basis, areas where contact with the outside world is very limited. We will be going on land to give presentations to the local villages about the various marine habitats in their region, talking about why and how locals should protect their own interests and much more.
We will be undertaking surveys, divers joining do not have to take part in the survey, they can simply enjoy the dive sites, take photo's or shoot video. There will be a chance to help take part in the surveys for those interested.
By joining these expeditions each person will be helping to conserve and preserve a little more that we are doing on the usual dive trips we all head out on each year!
