I have Photoshop CS 8.0 in my Powerbook. Are there plug ins available that will make it take Nikon D200 RAW files, or do I have to get a newer version of Photoshop?
cheers

you should be good with what you have, just go to Abode.com and search on D200 for the proper plug in
You should download the latest version of Adobe Camera RAW here:
http://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/photos...era_Raw_3_6.zip
Then try again...
I am not sure what CS 8.0 is. I bought the latest CS2 in order to use the Plug-in for the D200 RAW converter. (It would not work with CS.)
aha..... well that might be a problem then, i think i did read somethin about the newest ACR not working with CS2 (john, 8 is CS, CS2 is 9)
sooo, with that in mind you may have to do an upgrade to CS2....
again, adobe website should have that info
I geddit! In that case he will certainly need 9.0.2. I went through the whole process trying alternative RAW converters but IMHO you cannot beat it.

Have you tried Bibble? I'm not one of their sales rep, but I love this piece of software ![]()

If it was available on a month's free trial I tried it! IMHO No comparison!
I suspected that I needed to upgrade ![]()
