  1. Hello again sea slug fans,

After a long delay, and a visit to Sulawesi in 2006, we have resumed

    updating our site.

Firstly we are on a new domain at

    http://www.sulawesiseaslugs.com/

Next we have updated the Sea Slugs section adding 28 new species.

There are now 66 sp. represented by 242 images.

Further additions will be along soon and we will keep you notified.

Please let me know what you think, particularly if you have

suggestions on how the site can be improved, or of any errors you

    find.

    Kind regards,

    Jim Anderson

  2. The project looks interesting, but the page layout could be improved. Even with a fast connection, the slug photo page takes a long time to load up, and it's likely to get worse as the collection increases in size. You could try and sort them by family, and only display one family at a time?

  3. Thanks Mathieu for your comments.

I am considering this change as a longer term improvement and will probably implement it when my programming and web page design skills develop.

    Kind regards,

  4. Very nice images indeed, the color in some of those slugs is just fantastic. But it did take some time to load in my fast connection, maybe if you had one thumbnail per species that linked to a page with all photos of that species (instead of having all thumbnails in a single page, which takes a long time to load). Otherwise it seems like a great resource for people trying to ID Indonesian seaslugs...

  5. Thanks Luiz,

That's an improvement I'm looking at.

    Regards,

  6. I've now added some molluscs and updated the Hypelodoris bullockii by transferring some into H. apolegma. Tambja sp. has been identified as T. gabrielae - thanks to Bernard Picton.
