  1. I recently upgraded my Canon 20D to a 30D.

I love the camera, and the pictures are great (above water of course) but:

One of my main objective was (still is) to move U/W.

Is there any reason why this specific model so unpopular ?

I can hardly find a housing for it , and can hardly find any threads about this camera...

I even started thinking about downgrading to the 400D... the moment it came out - all brands manufacture a housing for it. Same with the 350D...

I will use the camera for natural light photography - 10-22mm and some macro - 60mm.

I take my pictures Freediving so that the ikelite is not the best choice size wise but i can not afford a 3000 euro housing.

    Any information is greatly welcome.

    Thanks

    Erez

  2. yes, just had a guest here with teh Aquatica housing for it. nice camera and great set up. Best thing is the new position of the shutter and fstop dials that allow really quick access. I would recommend it for sure

  3. I was just at Dema looking at housings for the 30D

    Aquatica

    Inon

    Nexus

    Subal

all had 30D housing on display.

  4. Thanks guys.

Do any of those brands have a local dealer in Australia?

I could only find Ikelite here.

  5. Yes, Peter Mooney in Cairns is a dealer. You can send him a pm from here, he is member pmooney

  6. I've forwarded you inquiry to Peter Mooney, Australian Aquatica rep. We met him at DEMA

and he is extremely knowledgeable of the product line!
