I was out diving on Anacapa yesterday. My photographic efforts were mostly disappointing except for this cutey. It is too bad that the adults lose the blue and cyan since they are SO intense that they don't look real!

This is a fantastic fish, too bad I don't think I will ever see one, the water they live in is too cold and I am a tropical beast...

That is why they make wetsuits (or drysuits). Much as I love tropical diving, it would be a shame to miss out on the majority of the ocean for something as easy to address as water temp!

In the summer, California water isn't THAT much colder than Hawaii. You do want to wear a hood and gloves, though. Kelp diving is amazing in good conditions.

No, you guys can't convince me I really hate the cold, hell, I've never seen snow in my life! And I only dive here in Hawaii in the summer, when temp is higher than 26C.

P.S.: Just kidding, I know I have to try it sometime sooner or later...
