  1. Hi there,

I just came back from my trip to dubai. Got lots of pictures but as usual all green, blue.

Now I've been trying to correct is with photoshop an lots of them became pretty good.

I just got two left wich I cannot get to the point I like. Can anybody help?

I'm trying to get the a bit more visible and to the front. But in my edit the blue color is gone and it looks like i've been diving in a gray sea....

En please tell me what you did so I can do it next time my self.

Ow and by the way it's an eagle ray and some manta's. My first manta's :guiness:

    greetings.

    Thanks.

The pictures are to large to post so I placed them here.

The ones with PH at the end of the filename is the things I get after some photoshopping !

  2. Olof - you are not in the ballpark - the quality of the photos are very poor it is almost pointless to display them. When you look at other ray pictures compare the quality and maybe you will understand. You are too far away and need to learn to use you camera, and software to resize and edit pictures properly. I am sure you are just starting out, If you are passionate you will learn and understand and take this as motivation.

  3. Hi there Olaf,

These pictures look like mine did when I first started :guiness: The first bit of advice that made an immediate improvement for me was to get closer to your subject. When you think you are close enough, get closer ;) Try that and post some and then you can start to work on technique :)

  4. You guys are right. Just beginning with the photoshoot part.

I'm not asking you to make a very beutiful picture of this one. But there must be a way to get it a little bit better.

  5. olof, from experience you need to make your images quick to download for critique purposes...no ones going to spend a long time downloading 1.2 meg files at least not photos....try a 650 pix or so jpeg resize and you might get a lot more response.
