Canon A710 IS

I am faced with the need to look at something less bulky & easier to pack than my housed DSLR for an upcoming trip. I have not looked at P&S cameras for quite awhile.

Any one have U/W experience with the A710 or have suggestions for a modestly priced P&S that delivers good results? Are you using a strobe - which one? I am considering the Ikelite housing rather than the Canon.

Would love to see some sample images.

I have just come back from Thailand with the A710IS & WP-DC6 and took the following:

- i have not processed these imaged.

The camea was easy enough to use, though once i over packed with gel and the bottons did not work correctly
