  1. Hi,

I went to the north of Vancouver Island region last month... water was cold  but I really enjoyed diving there ;)

A few photos below... some others on my website in the "topic of the month" section !

I'd appreciate comments and, as well, criticism...

    Cheers

    Claude

What type of fish is #6?

  6. I love Port Hardy diving

    # 6 looks like a Ratfish

Glad you got to see one of my favourites in the Decorated Warbonnet

really great : think to go back in spring 2008 !

What type of fish is #6?

it's a Ratfish also know as a chimaera - generally you find that fish in very deep water... we had chance to see it in shallow water !

  8. Was it at DIllon Rock?

They seem to always be there in 60 feet of water.

    Cheers

  9. Was it at DIllon Rock?

We saw some there... but most of them were in 15 feet in a bay at Hurst Island (God's Pocket Resort)

  10. Impressive images.

Very strange to a tropical diver like me.

  11. Ahh God's Pocket. You got to visit with Lewis the lab then.
