I've acquired a Nikon D100 and Sea & Sea DXD100 housing with YS-120 strobe. The camera is great, the housing is great, I'm getting good ambient light shots. The problem is, the strobe does not seem to be working properly--it fires but overexposes, regardless of setting on full, 1/2, or TTL. My hunch is that I have a setting wrong somewhere on the camera, but can find nothing relevant in any of the documentation. Any ideas welcome!

What mode are you shooting the camera in? M, A, or P?
The strobes are definitely giving a full dump? Interesting. Hopefully one of the D100 shooters can help out here.
If the strobes are set to 1/2 power, then they will give a 1/2 power dump - the camera doesn't have any "say" about that. What F-stop you use and the strobe-to-subject distance will play the biggest part in whether your shots are under or overexposed.

As James mentioned the mode you're in will determine how the camera itself chooses either an f-stop (in shutter priority "S" where you pick the shutter speed) or shutter speed (in aperture priority "A" where you pick the f-stop) or full manual "M" where you pick both.
I'd bet you have the AUTO ISO function enabled rather than setting a specific ISO. In dim light underwater the camera keeps increasing it and it's real hard not to overexpose a shot.
Best advice, set your D100 at the lowest possible ISO 200 (for bright tropical conditions), in "A" aperture Prioirty and set your f-stop on the guide chart for your strobe to subject distance. Also, no TTL with a D100 and ANY underwater strobe at this point....SO set your strobhe on manual. I shoot ISO 200, 1/2 power and simply adjust f-stop for most underwater shooting with a D100 and Ikelite DS125.
Good luck!

As mentioned above their is no TTL with the D100. I set the ISO to 200, the shutter speed to 1/125th or 1/180th a sec, and shoot manual. I sometimes will boost the ISO to 400 if low light. You can also very exposure by varying the strobe to subject distance.
The other thing to consider is the WB. I set mine to cloudy -3 and then adjust in NC 3. I find I've been using shade at lot for the UW pics. I may try that as my UW preset.
