TOKYO (AP) - Japanese optics maker Hoya will merge with camera maker Pentax, Hoya said Thursday.
The companies will combine operations on Oct. 1, 2007 and the new company will be called Hoya Pentax HD Corp, Hoya said in a release.-AP
