Student Filmaker looking for DP with experience underwater shooting

  1. I'm a student filmmaker working on putting together my reel.

We are shooting late January in a pool.

Would like to use with panasonic dvx100a and 35mm adapter...but not attached to the setup as long as we can make it look close to filmic.

PLEASE SEND REEL OR online LINK TO YOUR REEL.

Shooting in a studio in North Hollywood.

Any further question please e-mail to tangfilms@yahoo.com Do not private message. E-mail is easier.

  2. Always eager to help out film students, but I'm out of the country.

Also I don't think there's a housing that can fit a 35mm lens. You may be able to get a Gates Canon XL housing with a dome port to fit a PL mount, but I doubt it.

Your best filmic setup is either use the Canon XLH1 or the Panasonic HVX200. Gates has housings for both so you can approach them for rentals.

Alternatively, if you find someone with a Sony HDV camera and housing, shoot in CF24 and Cine Gamma 2. Then edits as 24fps.

Or you can get the HDV clips and apply magic bullet filters on them (renders will be LONG!)

    Good luck.
