Anyone else trying to get this setup together? Seems to be a few interface problems. Hopefully Nexus has the required parts.

105mmVR with Nexus D70

I am using 105mm VR with my Nexus D-200 setup & am not aware of interface problem.
Setup I am using is;
MP60-5 60mm flat port
PE20-7 20mm Extension
FG NAFVRM105 MF Gear
*Idel gear for housing
* You have to change a gear in housing.
As you see, I am using AF port (not using multi port) & very happy with my setup. It should work better with D-70 housing as D-70 housing has lens release lever & D-200 has not.

The idle gear seemed to be the main problem, although the focus gear sleeve will not pass thru the rear of the 60-5 port. A 40mm (vs 20mm) ring may solve this problem. I found the 20-7 ring to measure exactly the same as my 20-5 ring. Interesting. The actual gear will just pass thru either ring. You have no interference problem between gear sleeve & 60-5 port? Wonder why I do. Thanks for input.

Hi,
I have friend using regular MP60-5 without MF gear & What I am using is MP60-5 Ver.2 they call. I will compare these 2 when I return home on 2 Jan. & let you know. Re PE20-5 vs.-7. I am using both & see no problem.

Thanks for the clarification. Saw the 60-5 V2 on Anthias webpage - figured it was probably bored out to accommodate the gear sleeve. Think I just need the new idle gear then to make it all work, assuming I use a 40mm ring vs 20mm. If that doesn't work I'll also buy the 60-5 V2.

P.S. Just tried the 40mm ring with my 60-5 port. It works! Plus it leaves room to add a diopter if you wish. Downside - its very awkward changing the camera battery. Just barely enough wiggle room to gain access without totally having to remove the camera.
