  1. HI ALL,

I am looking for some help, I have a SeaCam Wide Port with a 35mm extender which I

use with my Nikon 12/24 WA Lens. I do not want to buy an other Wide Port, but I would

like to puchase a fish eye lens, does anyone have any experience in using this combination

    with any eye lens??

    Andy :):)

  2. HI Andy

Should be no problem with just the port you have now. No extension needed.

  3. You going 10.5 Andy ?

  4. HI Paul,

I do not want to buy another port, but I need to know if their is

a fish eye lens which will match the port i have i don't mind which

one but the 10.5 nikon would be great, have you got your name down

for the workshop in June?? I have, so you guest it, I would like to use

    it on the wrecks. ;)

    Andy :):)

  5. the 10.5 works just fine in my 8" port

  6. HI Mike,

thanks for the note, the problem I have is SeaCam make I think four dome

ports. Dome Port, Wide Port, Fish Eye Port & the Super Dome. I have the W/P

which I use with my 12/24 nikon lens it is a great compact port & do not want to

buy an other port to carry around, also its about £900.00 GBP. So thats why I am

asking if anyone has matched the port with any of the fisheye lens.

    Andy :):)

  7. According to the port chart here:

    http://www.seacamusa.com/products.shtml

You will either need the Fisheye port or the super dome. Send Stephen Frink a PM and ask to make sure. Good news are that I am sure that either the fisheye or the super dome will work with your 12-24, so no need to carry two ports.

  8. Hi Andy,

I've used the Seacam wide port with the fisheye lens and it works fine. No extension ring.

It's not the recommended port, but it works.

    Cheers

    James

  9. Hi Andy,

Yea figured that you were up for a 10.5.

Yes I am all booked in for June.

Am also sneaking off on Wed for a Brothers trip with a couple of guys from here in Guernsey - let's hope the weather is kind as that trip can be a ball breaker if the weather is not on your side.

I thaught that you had tried Alex's 10.5 on last years trip ? maybe I am wrong.
