Does anyone have any experience diving Lembeh/Bunaken at the end of March? I know that here in Bali, the diving can still be hit or miss due to the end of the rainy season. I leave Indonesia on April 9th, so I can't go to Lembeh any later than that (leaving a few days to pack to leave Indo). How are the water conditions, viz, etc? Chances of heavy rains, etc?
Thanks,
Colin
I don't know what is typical. I have been in both early December and earl April. Both time it was mostly sunny with a few brief showers. Viz in Bunaken was good both times....viz in Lembeh is never very good.

It can be hit and miss, but generally not too bad, especially if you are muck diving anyway. I know someone who goes at that time (March) because he usually gets better prices and fewer other divers. He's not missed a dive to weather. Lucky maybe, but in your situation, it's worth a try.
I'll be on the North Sulawesi Aggressor the first week in April.
