EastGear PD70X Compact Drive w/AC adapter, car adapter, and case - $70
Hard disk enclosure with card reader and transfer functionality. Use instead of a computer while on the road!
I bought this unit because it is one of the fastest units on the market (70X card reader speed). It will copy 1GB from a fast memory card in 2 minutes, and has enough battery for 50GB of transfer. Card reader supports CompactFlash, Microdrives, xD, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro, MMC, and SD.
This is an EMPTY unit. All you need to add is add a 2.5" internal notebook harddisk (very easy to do), and you have a portable storage unit that will pull images directly from memory cards.
