  1. I took this today off of Jim Abernethy's boat. It's a baby loggerhead.

  2. Wow! This is fantastic! It's the best underwater action shot I can remember.

  3. I hope he didn't leave scratches in my dome port. hehehe. He was only four inches long. :)

  4. Here's our own Laz, who came down to hang out for the day. I hope to see his stories about the day posted soon.

  5. Eric,

What's your job again? Independently wealthy (you seem to be in the water more than on land)? Great shot!

    Sean

  6. Great shot!!! One of the bests I saw recently.

What did you done to him? He looks very angry.

Btw: Laz also look unhappy for some reason.

  7. That is excellent. Maybe it should be accompanied with the disclaimer "please don't try this at home".

  8. Looks almost like a cartoon turtle with it's mouth open like that. Can't help but smile when I see it....

  9. Were you releasing some babies again. We did that last year around this time. They are cute little fellows!

  10. That is one unbelievable shot!!!!!

    Too cool

  11. Great shot! Looks like one of those TV ads where they make the animals talk

  12. A money-shot Eric. I've never seen anything like it. With that kind of verocity it's a wonder more of those little guys don't survive.

  13. That truly is an amazing shot--full of so much character. Everyone I've shown it to has praised it. Looks like 'someone' is gonna have to do more than shoot whales to match it.

I've had two great but very long days--I just got back from a Sea Stories meeting at the University of Miami's Rosensteil Center. I will start working on that story tomorrow.

Alto, that look on my face in the shot Eric took of me is nothing but pure joy. I had a blast diving with Eric and the Abernethy's--to say the least.

  14. I have retracted my comments after giving this further consideration. If what I believe is true then shame on you Eric.:angryfire:

    Mark

  15. Mark and I have resolved what he believed, and he has retracted his statement of retraction. :)

On a side note, look what someone did with one of the turtles! My turtle was farked, and my site is being bombarded with people -- roughly 1000 every 30 minutes or so. crazy.
