Sea and Sea iTTL converter

  1. Help !! Just received Inon Z240 and I am lost on what srobe settings to use with Sea and Sea iTTL converter.

The enclosed directions are difficult for me to follow. I will be using SeaCam D2X housing and dual Z240. When connections made and strobes turned on, the focus light keeps activating any time the stobes are moved. Can that function be deactivated, so it only activates when I want it. Also unsure of:

    1. Main switch settings?

    2. EV cotrol switch settings ?

    3. Advanced cancel circuit switch settings?

    For both TTL and Manual?

    Any help greatly appreciated.

  2. Jack,

I set the left dial to STTL and the right dial to TTL. The magnet / switch below the right dial nedds to be depressed and turned so it remains depressed.

To turn the focus light on, you depress and turn the magnet / switch under the left dial. To turn it off you should just turn it until it comes up (spring loaded).

  3. Jack,

After check push down switch of focus light, next thing I will check is sync cable & sync connetor of housing. I've seen focus light of Z-240 get continuously on when cable & connector got wet.

  4. For manual, just switch the converter dial all the way to the left (black dot) but you probably knew this already. On the Inon Z-240's, switch main dial to Manual and then use the ev to dial in the strobe power (9 o'clock, weakest to 8 o'clock strongest)

  5. Jack,

I have 2 Z-240, the Sea&Sea I-TTL conversor and Aquatica D2x housing. The focus light keeps activating from time to time too in my case. Even out of the water. I could not find a way to deactivate that light permanently.

The settings are like the guys described above.
