Fraunhofer IIS announced the new MicroHDTV Camera, a 2/3" CMOS sensor that shoots 720i/p up to 120fps and 1080i/p in both PAL and NTSC. The diminutive camera measures 87x44x44 without the lens (another approx 30mm in length) making it an awesome HDTV camera for tight spaces. Designed for compactness, the applications include autoracing POV and for underwater, reef and critter shooting as well as boom/pole cam.
It is controlled via 10/100 MBits ethernet using a web browser and has HDSDI or 10/100MBps output.
