Ikelite Sub Strobe 400 replaceable D battery pack

I just purchased a Ikelite Sub Strobe 400 and if I remember correctly Ikelite had a adapter that would allow the use of single D batteries instead of their battery pack ? Does anyone know the model number, or better yet, know where I might find one ?

I was able to find the model number from Ikelite, # 4053. Now I still need to locate one,

I think they come up on eBay every so often... I assume you are going to make your own rechargeable battery pack?

I'm sure there are many divers who have an old 400 or 150 sat in their garage not being used, maybe put a few adverts on different diving forums, or call a few dealers.
