INON D2000

  1. Have decided to get a INON D2000 strobe for my compact setup...

As I also have a EOS400D for landphotography I'm wondering if the D2000 is compatible with it once I decide to get it wet?

You probably could use it as a optically fired secondary strobe but is there any connectors availabale so I could use it as a primary strobe as well?

Os should I get a s&s YS110 instead? Which surely is compatible with dslr...

    Any suggestions?

  2. This housing, shipping in late March, will offer 2 optical connections as standard equipment allowing you to use your D-2000 strobe in S-TTL, External Auto, and Manual Modes:

  3. Hi,

There are 2 different types of D2000.One with sync connector & one without. One without is good enough to use with P&S camera using slave function but, you will want to have sync connector for d-slr and D-2000 is no longer in production. I would like to suggest to look at YS-110 or Z-240.

Will probably look at the YS110 instead, they look to have similar specs...

I use a powershot 620 and for Canon cameras INON recommend a blue diffuser when using the strobe. Will I have the same red hue problem with the YS110? Anyone have any experience of that?
