When shooting RAW CS2 always shows a "resolution" of 240. When I shoot JPG, 300. If you are required to have a photo with a minimum of 300DPI does it matter?

Raw converter resolution only changes picture dimensions on import, not resolution. "Size" will change resolution/ number of pixels. Resize/ re sample after cropping and deciding what print size you want, usually.
