On Thursday we had a guy from www.thomson.net fly into Exmouth from Melbourne to interview yours truley
Grass Valley (Canopus) Japan wanted to do 6 case studies on people from around the world that use EDIUS and we must of impressed them with our underwater stuff as we were one of the 6.
The interview and some of our stuff will be playing at NAB in Vegas in the Canopus Booth.
We also gave them the HDV m2t file of our Naturally Ningaloo DVD we just made and they are going to make a BlueRay version from it.
There is some very cool features in the pipeline for EDIUS as well... and no I don't get any commission for selling the stuff.
Cool hey

But you absoluty should !
Why give them all this free promotion ?
Sometimes it's good to do stuff just to get known.
Think of it like spending money on advertising yourself.
But pretty lucky to have a guy come all the way over for a chat and stuff.
We did chat about the new Infinity Camcorder and underwater housings so you never know.
Yep. I know
It's just like sowing seeds, which is importen, if one wants anything to grow
Keep up the good work Wags B)
Hans our DVD is on it's way to you.
So are the ones as well to folks that sent us their DVD's and stuff.

Seems to me like Canopus should offer an all expenses paid week for two to NAB for their most distant case study...
Wags and Kelly do Vegas...I'd fly over for that.

Hi Wags & Kell,
Just had a sprint through the DVD while my girlfriend was out (she's not the diving sort of girl) and well done, some lovely footage on there.. Amongst others I loved the opening shot of the lions mane jelly..WOW it looked great almost, painted on...
I will watch the rest as soon as I'm alone... ... Not like that, perv.
Oh, and I love the way kelly says 'Octopus'...Cute.

I received an email from John Ellerbrock and he confirms that Gates is going to produce a housing for the Red Camera as well - The future for shooting video underwater looks to be very interesting.
