Matridiums in California

  1. Second day with the Sea and Sea DX100 in Monterey CA

  2. White really stands out in that background, looks a little clipped on the left of the pic (maybe that's on purpose, artistic license). Swell shot. :)

  3. yeah those things are amazing. You should see them at night. I know I clipped the side of the one....the current was killing me....still pretty happy with it though...my buddy couldn't have had a better pose.

  4. That looks like Monterey visiblity.

  5. ...on a good day! Looking forward to warm water and clear seas in Belize next week

  6. Any feedback from my fellow underwater photographers? It would be greatly appreciated. Also anybody have any advice on shooting in the mucky waters off Northern California?

  7. I really like the contrast of the white against the green water. Could have improved it a bit by shifting to the left to capture the entire subject. Looks like the shot might have been underexposed and you had to push it a bit based on the graininess of the green. Too bad the diver couldn't be a little more distinct, if so, it would be just that much better of a shot.

Good one though. Cold water and low vis are tough.
