olympus pt-016 for 1st underwater photos

  1. Hi

     

    I've had an olympus mju410 for a few years now and recently bought a pt-016 housing for it. I felt this would be a cheaper option for occasional use.

     

    I wonder if anyone has any beginners hints beyond those in the manual regarding testing and basic o-ring care and replacement.

     

    I intend taking the housing for a dive empty first to see if it has any manufacturing faults and then the aim is to try and get some nice pics on the Yongala, off Townsville, while on honeymoon!!
