Any comments on the Macbook 15 inch.
Is the small size a hinderance with on location editing etc or do find the quality of the screen to be
sufficient .Is the batterylife sufficient?

MacBook Pro (Macbook is the smaller one). I edited a ton on the road using an older G4 15" tiBook, now have 17" MacBook Pro and it is great. (eSATA card and FW800 card as add ons are good to have) Battery life is okay (probably 2 hours would be a good bet, though it does usually last longer, depends on apps running and settings on the laptop you choose). As to screen, the MacBook Pro screen is very good (I prefer non-glossy), though keep in mind for color correction it is not the same as having a calibrated monitor specific for print for instance, but you can do alot on it. Portability and power is a good combo.
