I'm looking for someone who has used Inon Z240s with a Nikon D100 in a Nexus housing. I'd like to know if there is any significant difference in the funtionality of the Z240s if you connect them to the housing using the optical sync cable and the optical converter provided by Inon? Do you gain any TTL capabilities by connecting optically that you don't have using the 5-pin sync cable?
Thanks,
Rob
Hi,
According to what I hear from Japan, it works & you will get your d-TTL working with Z-240. Optical converter "D" (D is for D-TTL/i-TTL) + optical cable and Z-240 to be in S-TTL Mode. You need to check your hotshoe cable/adapter & NCC-V2 is recommanded & NCC-TM only allow 'Main' to use with optical onverter.

Hi,
Other than connect through optical cable, I do not see the way to get TTL working with Z-240.
