when best for Bahamas ( tigers and great hammerheads )

Having booked all our dive trips for 2007 we are now looking at where we want to go next year. Jim Abernathy in the Bahamas is top of the list at the moment, but we need to know when is best to visit for better chances of seeing the big boys. Any advice on time of year and or Jims trips welcome. many thanks, Stew Smith

Any time you go with Jim on a shark trip, you will see Tigers, Lemons and Carribean Reef. In the winter they go look for Great Hammerhead as well, but then the weather does not always cooperate. In my opinion, the best time in the Bahamas is from March/April through July for weather, although July through October are also great just that you're in Hurricane season. Pretty much their schedule on the website outlines what you can anticipate seeing.
